The Five Fun Factor
The Five Fun Factor
Essentials Attributes
I'm certainly not a behavioral psychologist, but I have spent years doing a seriously deep dive into what happiness is and how it applies to a person's ability to be authentically joyful and positive. I have read reams of cultural and scientific studies and reports that address the the elements of fun and happiness and have interviewed hundred of people. The project is a result of all that work. And, I must say, I am totally excited about what I've learned and what I'm sharing with you.
You know what I've learned? To express joy and positivity on a fairly continual basis, (i.e. authentically -- without trying), people tend to be strong in five essential attributes.
Those attributes are:
- Positive Attitude - Mental buoyancy - The ability to continually perceive one’s world through an optimistic filter.
- Self Confidence - A sense of real trust in one's abilities, qualities, and judgment.
- Attitude of Gratitude - Having an appreciative nature about all things great and small, living or not.
- Humility and Self Awareness - Having the ability to be objective and honest about one’s self.
- Sense of Humor - To laugh naturally and attract - and be attracted to - fun and funny things.
